Let's take a moment or two to indulge in a much-needed sanity break from the hard ass-busting job we've all been doing here!
It's Halloween, and once you get through handing out candy to kids with the colored hair and latex masks, and crazy guys like myself (I wanted to dress up as Sarah Palin, but couldn't find a $150k red dress in mens size 46-48! HOWS THAT FOR HORROR)..
...what really makes for a good nightcap is a couple glasses of your favorite beer or wine, and a good horror movie.
Whether it's a well-written psychological thriller, a cheesy b-movie where you can still see the puppet strings and don't care, or your typical slash-them-teens-up flick, who doesn't enjoy jumping up from their chair every once in a while.
Anyways I was kinda inspired by this list which has some classics, some newer psycho-thriller stuff, and even a few movies I've never even heard of. Of course, from the comments there and just from my own viewing there's a lotta films that would jump into your mind.
One that almost always does it for me is Stephen King's "It". I know people who've developed a lifelong fear of clowns from watching this as a kid. Thankfully I'm not that bad; in fact it kinda led me to a greater appreciation for Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
Ok guys it's your turn - give me your blood, guts and tears!
