But first, a question for any McCain surrogates not off updating their resumes.
The first one goes, presumably, to EBAY CEO Meg Whitman, who I'm sure is eager to have her precious brand identity become inextricably linked with a winner like McCain: How will the government buy up all bad American mortgages...during a "complete spending freeze" where "any spending bills that come across [McCain's] desk will be vetoed" and their authors made famous?
Question (for someone, maybe in Montana, who operates using only cash and tries to decide between Barr and McCain):
...was McCain's inartful terminology "put medical records online" this year's "internets"? Obama was talking about computerizing them, and yes, sharing between doctor's offices might be possible... But I think John McCain just lost 20,000 votes to Barr from the ranks of the "Well, why should I give you my Social Security Number?" crowd with the notion of creating a (presumably searchable) database of THE most personal information possible?
