The following is meant to be an example template for Election Night Live Blog diaries, as part of the Election Day Live Blogging Project.
Welcome to the Election 2008 Live Blogging Project.
Please do not recommend this diary! Instead, please recommend the mothership diary instead. Also, please do not post images or videos.
[Put important and/or breaking news up here (and maybe graphs)]
New Hampshire President Results

If you so choose to not use the kos graphs, and instead wish to keep track of the numbers yourself (or want to update the values in a table yourself on top of having the graphs), the easiest way to do that is to use a table such as this:
<table cellpadding="3">
<tr>
<td colspan="3"><strong>TN-07 - 23% reporting</strong></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Marsha Blackburn (R)</td>
<td>18,000</td>
<td>18%</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Bill Morrison (D)</td>
<td>82,000</td>
<td>82%</td>
</tr>
</table>
Results as of 11/7/06 at 11:23 Central Time.
Be sure to include candidates of other parties if the candidates receive (or are expected to receive) 5% of the vote or more.
To create a table, copy this code into your diary:
TN-07 - 23% reporting |
Marsha Blackburn (R) | 18,000 | 18% |
Bill Morrison (D) | 82,000 | 82% |
Also remember to add the Tag "Election Day Live Blogging" to the diary, as well as any race-specific or candidate-specific tags. If you have your own idea of how to present race results, then that's fine. This is merely presented as a template to use.
To get the code for the kos maps, go here, click what type of race you want and what state you want to view (as of now, the only 2008 races you can click down to the state level for are house races), click "Share Map" and copy the code and paste it into the diary.
