I can't let go of the biggest lie I have heard this entire election cycle. When John McCain sat in front of a preacher and stated on national television that one of the three people whose advice he would seek was Representative John L Lewis, my drink reversed its course and took a nasal exit path.
When John McCain went to honor Rep Lewis at the Pettus Bridge in Selma, he didn't invite Rep Lewis to hear his address to a mostly white crowd in the 70% Black county. But he sure didn't mind throwing his name out there, as he told all the people that look just like him he would be President of "all the people".
The young black gentleman he insulted at the last debate by saying the guy had probably never heard of Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac has now put an entry on his facebook page telling how condescending he thought that was. Why did McCain think that man had never heard of it but the guy across the way, the WHITE GUY, he turned and pointed to and said he would keep him in his home while talking to the Black guy.
McCain just released his new, wacky housing plan, borne of desperation and too many prunes. Did he call Representative John Lewis, who he honored at the bridge but didn't invite to stand with him, who he stated on national television that he would seek the advice of if limited to only three people?
People, let's cut the crap. John McCain employs the worst kind of racism, the kind where the person doesn't think they are a racist. It is the racism of association and assumption. By association, I mean that the only black person John McCain ever saw in his formative years was in a servile position. Yes, he was in the Navy, which also means that most every black person he saw there was junior in rank. Then, he married the Beeresse. So, he is living in AZ, the whitest state in the country next to Idaho, in exclusive gated splendor. Then on to Congress, where his involvement with anyone of a different race was a grand total of zip.
He has voted against every piece of legislation important to minorities. He was even for making illegal aliens gain a path to citizenship, before he was against it.
Senator McCain, Rep Lewis is still waiting on that phone call.
Now, he has his completely brainless twit of an attack mouthpiece asking about Barack Obama. Well, who the hell are you lady? You won't even let the tough question press talk to you, you dizzy bitch.
Is McCain a racist? You damn right he is. He is the worst kind. The kind who thinks he isn't.
