Can we get past the bickering, the partisanism, the bullshit? Can we come together as americans regardless of party identity?
Sometimes I wonder about it. I see often undoubtedly, our great presidential candidate on tv promoting coming together as americans regardless of political affiliation.
Even amongst the biggest anti-republicans in congress I see many of them presenting Republicans they greatly admire, out of the blue.
Undoubtedly there are many bad republicans, but aren't there some good ones as well?
How can we not move past this point, without accepting those republicans who vote for Obama with open arms. Or those who oppose Bush and McCain?
Sometimes I wonder if we as Democrats can move past this petty bickering.
And then once in a while I see a post like this one. And I cry, really cry, at the blindness of some people. Even those who oposed Bush and the War in Iraq since the beggining, show just as much blindness at this point in our history.
If everyone is blind, who will will lead us?
