I have been waiting many months to revive my tradition of posting "I Voted" open threads during election days (you may recall I did one every primary day). And tomorrow is the big day in which I, and many others, will most certainly be posting open threads to hear your experiences.
But, like so many across the nation, chances are a good chunk of you have voted early. We've heard many of your stories sporadically throughout various disparate diaries, but on the eve of the election, I thought it would be a great thing to hear your stories of voting early in one central location. Something to get us all excited about voting tomorrow.
So, before the big event tomorrow, those of you who have voted early, please share with us your tale of democracy. If possible, please follow this format:
In your subject line, include:
- City
- State
- Date when you voted
And then in the body of your comment, tell us your stories, I can't wait to hear them.
And as I always do, here is a blatant plea for recommendations so that others can see these stories and have their chance to share them throughout the day.
P.S. Going to Quakertown, PA to GOTV tomorrow...any Kossacks going to be there?
