The Rev. Jesse Jackson should be appointed to replace Barack Obama in the United States Senate.
The Governor if Illinois, who will now appoint a replacement for Sen. Barack Obama until a special election can be held, should appoint the Rev. Jesse Jackson.
This will be extremely brief. My hope is that this idea, if not already discussed elsewhere, will find its why into the popular mindset and his appointment will be an almost certainty. With Rahm Emanuel taking the chief of staff position the apparently leading candidate for the appointment is unavailable.
UPDATE: I agree with Rep. Jesse Jackson, III instead of his father. Sorry, I did not think of him immediately.
