I often wonder if the economic situation could lead to a collapse of our society. The Government is bankrupt financially and morally.
The control of the government by the banks has never been more apparent then now. The citizens are left on the sidelines watching as the very same people that have engineered this mess, are being paid by the Government to engineer a working plan to reinstate some confidence in the system that is the core problem with our modern society. Too much money in too few hands.
The next 6 months are going to be a wake up call for America, We have leveraged ourselves into a situation that can only get worse. The taxpayers are being robbed, 1st by the devalued homes, 2nd the losses in pension funds and IRA's, 3rd the lack of meaningful work, 4th the medieval medical care system,(Only in America could a young boy die because of rotten teeth.) and lastly the bailout of the very banks that are the Federal Reserve. The greatest transfer of wealth in history is occurring, funded with our tax dollars. Our money is being used to consolidate the banks! We are creating larger banks, too large to fail. Why is this a good thing?
The collapse of the Government is enviable, our debts are to high to ever get out of the hole we are in. Unless hyperinflation is the answer. The thought of bread costing $20,000 dollars would really make the old debt seem serviceable. This is what happened in Germany after WWI. I shudder at the thought of the amount of suffering that it will cause. Already the amount of homeless people is rising yet again. Unemployment and underemployment is the standard across the country even before the collapse of Wall Street. The last eight years have been nothing but a working mans nightmare. Wages have been frozen and devalued by the importation of cheap labor. Environmental work place rules have been unenforced along with basic rights to address grievances. The government has become a tool of the corporations to harass and intimidate workers. La Migra for example. The will of the people is to live in a just and equitable society. So why do we allow the politicians to continually work against the common good?
I have read about the collapse of the former Soviet Union, we my friends are in deep trouble if a collapse happens here. We lack the means of production. Most of the machines of industry have been shipped overseas. We lack a mass transit system of European quality, and we also lack the right to a home. So when the collapse happened in Russia they were able to limp along because no one was thrown out of there homes, people were able to travel to work on the transit system and the people continued to work hopeful that they would be paid. They suffered a soft crash while we are going to suffer a hard crash.
So stock up on extras like matches and candles, plant a garden this spring and prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
