Calente is now predicting revolution in America within four years:
Calente recently said:
"There will be a revolution in this country. It’s not going to come yet, but it’s going to come down the line and we’re going to see a third party and this was the catalyst for it: the takeover of Washington, D. C., in broad daylight by Wall Street in this bloodless coup. And it will happen as conditions continue to worsen.
***
What’s going on right now – this Wall Street bailout is really taxation without representation. "
In the video segment, Celente predicts that by 2012 America will be the first "undeveloped" country (meaning Bush has reversed progress, sending the country backwards), experiencing tax revolution, food shortages, riots, marches, and food will take the place of gifts for Christmas.
Calente believes parents shouldn't send their kids to get business degrees or psychology degrees but should send them to free community colleges to learn a trade or skill. He repeats that merely feeding your family will become the most important thing, there will be a major squatters' movement, and the retail industry will die off completely (okay, that's actually pretty conceivable), but local markets will thrive.
The video is framed (by Fox) as a comment on "Obama's Impact" but it's clear from Calente that the impact is all from stuff before Obama's term, and that Obama's hands are tied by what has come before. (I'm sure Fox is disappointed this turned into commentary on GOP policy...)
Is Calente right? Have these years of control under Bush and GOP policies culiminating using shock doctrines (9/11, Katrina, Iraq War, Wall Street cash giveaway) to steal trillions of dollars from middle class taxpayers to rich corporations set the stage for an overthrow of our system?
Will there be critical mass that the Dems' gullibility in fostering the ripoffs mean that many who are current Dems will reject and see them as the problem, as well?
Or is Obama and a Dem majority capable of saving the day and protecting the public from the damage?
This is an interview on Fox, of all places, and after Obama has won the election.
Do you agree with Calente that "retail Christmas" will essentially go away and be replaced by people's need to try to keep food on the table?
Celente presents a picture of the Bush Administration having turned the US into a third world country through corruption and greed, with a spineless or impotent Democratic party playing the enabler.
