The Daily Kos Roll Call. A tradition since well, the beginning of time, which of course occurred on May 26, 2002.
First, please recommend this diary so that as many Kossacks as possible can participate.
These Roll Call diaries are a community building exercise so that we all can get to know each other more. And the reason why I do them every three months is because thousands of new users register their monikers during the intervening months, and old timers come back once and a while to join us again after a hiatus.
Thus, if you are willing, please post a comment containing the following information:
Your Age
Your Gender
Your town, city, state of residence
The college or university you attended or graduated from (if any)
Your occupation
A link to a local blog that you visit
Your Daily Kos User ID
To find your UID, find a previous comment of yours on your comment page. Hover your mouse cursor above your username, and in the status bar on the bottom left of your screen should appear the number.
Remember, this is completely voluntary. If want to participate but do not want to give out any of the details above, that is fine too. And be sure to vote in the UID poll, so we can see how many old timers and middle aged (in internet speak) Kossacks are here! Oh, and recommend this so as many people as possible can participate, and please vote in the poll below as to what region of the country or world you live in. And don't worry about my geographical designations, for it is virtually guaranteed you will disagree with the region I label you as. Indeed, in the past some have were "concerned" with my labeling Alaska and Hawaii as "The Freak States" (an nod to a Simpsons joke), but after Sarah Palin and Ted Stevens, we can all agree that at least Alaskans are freaks, right?
Thanks so very much!
