I must have skipped over this story yesterday of a $100k reward being offered for information that leads to an arrest for whomever rigged the 2002 election in the favor of Saxby Chambliss.
Well, it would have been easy to miss based on all the other exciting news out of the GA-Sen race in the last couple of days: Bill Clinton to campaign for Jim Martin; Saxby's bum knee, Saxby refusing to appear in court in Imperial Sugar case; Donna Brazile coming to assist Jim Martin,
I am outraged about these latest allegations and just another reason that I will be devastated if we do not get rid of Saxby Chambliss: If you haven't given $5, $10, or more, do it now. Chambliss will do anything to win
Here is the meat of the article about the 2002 election being rigged in case you haven't read it
Chris Hood, a whistleblower who worked for the Diebold voting machine in 2002, has stated publicly that, in the days leading up to that election, he was ordered by Diebold President Bob Urosevich (a self proclaimed GOP partisan) to place uncertified patches on hundreds of voting machines in the Democratic leaning counties of Fulton and DeKalb. Hood was told not to discuss these patches with Georgia elections officials. Documents provided to VR by Hood show that Cathy Cox, the former top Georgia elections official, was unaware at the time that these patches had been placed on the machines.
Cyber security expert Stephen Spoonamore has stated that Mr. Hood gave him a copy of the Georgia patch and that he analyzed it and turned it over to the FBI Cyber Squad in Washington for investigation. Spoonamore stated that the patch was a comparative patch and could have been used to flip the votes in the Diebold machines from Cleland to Chambliss. He stated that in his expert opinion, Max Cleland was the real winner of that election and that Saxby Chambliss stole it with the rigged Diebold machines.
Georgia uses paperless Diebold touchscreen machines for its elections. The machines it uses have been shown by computer scientists to be very vulnerable to manipulation and rigging with a computer patch or virus that can be installed in seconds.
Now I'm a little skeptical of this information. I know nothing about this group and find it interesting that it is just now coming to light. However, I would certainly not put it past Saxby Chambliss based on the latest we are hearing about him refusing to answer a subpoena in the Imperial Sugar Case. Who does he think he is? Karl Rove?
According to the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW)
"The Speech or Debate Clause does not give Sen. Chambliss blanket immunity from testifying in a civil case simply because he is a member of Congress. As an attorney, Sen. Chambliss should know this. Clearly, he needs to brush up on his constitutional law"
So Saxby is breaking the law based on this interpretation.
It's gets worse and worse.
Yes we Can get Rid of Saxby
