What a dingbat. Zogby's much-trumpeted one-day sample result of McCain+1 yesterday was followed by a one-day sample result of Obama+10, leaving the 3-day rolling average basically unchanged at Obama+5.7.
"Remember, as I said yesterday, one day does not make a trend. This is a three-day rolling average and no changes have been tectonic. A special note to blogger friends: calm it down. Lay off the cable television noise and look at your baseball cards in your spare time. It is better for your (and everyone else's) health."
Right, one day doesn't make a trend. That's why it was dumb for Zogby to title yesterday's commentary "Is McCain Making A Move?"
M+1 to O+10 in a day ... that's just embarrassing, for anyone who ran around screaming about Zogby's numbers yesterday, but mostly embarrassing for Zogby's and his unreliable methods.
