Well, he's finally done it. Saxby Chambliss has forgotten that the tubes are following him around everywhere and has shown his true bully colors. Look and judge for yourself when he shoves the camera and tells the cameraman who asked him a question about the Imperial Sugar explosion (13 dead, more than 40 injured): "You can take it away now."
Now Saxby...you can take it away now!
According to the Huffington Post
Asked by a reporter whether a lawsuit involving deaths at an Imperial Sugar plant -- a lawsuit in which Chambliss claims he has senatorial immunity from testifying -- were making his chances at reelection harder, the Georgia Republican responded by knocking away a nearby camera.
Gee, Saxby...that's so rude. But why should we expect any less?
Oh, and BTW Saxby, there is parobably no such thingy as "Senatorial immunity".
Saxby slammed a whistleblower in the Senate inquiry into the explosion:
The whistleblower who brought the issue to light came before Capitol Hill to testify on the matter. Chambliss sat in on the hearing, though he was not part of the Senate Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety. He was accused by his opponents of verbally harassing the whistleblower.
According to the Savannah Morning News, Chambliss has been subpoenaed in the lawsuits brought by the families of the dead factory workers, but in true Bush/Cheney fashion, he's refusing to comply.
The Republican lawmaker was subpoenaed Wednesday on behalf of four victims - two dead and two injured - of the Port Wentworth inferno that killed 14 and hurt scores of others.
The action surfaced less than two weeks before the Nov. 4 election, which pits Chambliss in a tight race against Democrat Jim Martin.
Savannah attorney Mark Tate says Chambliss might be part of an Imperial "effort to shift responsibility" away from the company.
Sound familiar? Yup...more of the same Republican thinking that resulted in the landslide repudiation of these type of "family values".

But, there is a bright side to this. Jim Martin. Jim can do to Saxby what another Jim (Webb, that is) did to George Allen.
I've known Jim Martin for over 20 years. And he is truly a progressive Democrat that is a decent and kind man.
The Runoff election is December 2nd. The RNC has kicked in heavily here sending McCain, Huckabee, the Mittster, and over 2 Million Dollars. Jim has the support of the DNC, DSCC and the Obama Campaign...but we need a big push in these last 2 weeks.
I know there are many Kossacks who are stir crazy from boredom after the landslide election. Here's your chance to put one more nail in the coffin of the antiquated, corrupt, and mean Republican party. Support Jim and send Saxby back to the hole he crawled out of.

(UPDATE) DSCC AD: What is Saxby trying to hide?
