It's time to translate anger into action.
The most visible public event in Utah is the Sundance Film Festival.
It is largely operated by, patronized by, and financed by GLBT members of the entertainment industry and their friends and families.
Let's move this OUT of Utah and to a more suitable venue......VERMONT.
You know Vermont, where gay folks are treated with respect and dignity?
I believe they have some very nice ski resorts there.
Or how about British Columbia? Isn't gay marriage legal in Canada?
Hell, half the films shown at Sundance are filmed either in Vancouver or Toronto already.
Send a note to our fine friends who organize the film festival:

UPDATE:
Or move it to Massachusetts? I believe that gay marriage is legal there and last time I checked, Provincetown had not fallen into the ocean.
UPDATE II:
For those of you who think that moving Sundance would inflict too much collateral damage to those in Utah far removed from this issue, how about turning Sundance into a fundraiser to repeal Proposition 8? How about persuading the organizers to donate 10% of the gross proceeds of the festival to fund the repeal fight?
I hear that tithing is particularly well regarded in Utah.
