So according to CNN exit polls Obama won the female vote, the white male vote, the catholic vote (also the white catholic vote) the non-college education vote, the under $50,000 vote and the senior vote and the Latino vote.
And look a this:
Satisfied if Clinton Wins Nomination?
Yes (64%)
54% Clinton
46% Obama
No (36%)
3% Clinton
96% Obama
Satisfied if Obama Wins Nomination?
Yes (82%)
24% Clinton
75% Obama
No (17%)
89% Clinton
9% Obama
As one of those voters who won't vote for Hillary if she is the nominee (I won't forget her IWR vote and lies afterward) I can understand this pattern.
But 82% to 64%? That's quite shocking.
This is obviously different from the result in any state Obama has won.
I don't know much about Virginia. I thought it's a pretty mainstream state with a about 20% of the pop. being African American.
Could someone enlighten me why this result is so different than South Carolina, for example?
