It hasn't taken very long for me to hook myself up to the burnt orange IV drip that is Daily Kos. Since I know I'm not the only one in the ranks of the recently addicted, I decided to ask in what ways other people were able to recognize that they were spending inordinate amounts of free time here.
Here are some of my own. Hopefully this topic hasn't been pummelled into the ground.
How to tell you're a Daily Kos addict:
#1 You begin to look for the "Recommend" ticky box anytime you read a comment to any blog post on any other site (this was my first inkling).
#2 Burnt orange is a nicer color than you ever thought it was before, and anytime you see it elsewhere, you experience a Pavlovian desire to check the front page.
#3 All of the links you forward to your friends start coming from DKos.
#4 When Keith Olbermann makes a reference to something you saw covered on DKos, you're convinced he must have read it here, or at least someone on his staff did (you're convinced it was KO himself).
#5 Your bedtime has drifted past where it should be, by at least half an hour.
