For all that conservatives blast the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals for being on the left-wing fringe, an analysis of the just-concluded U.S. Supreme Court term reveals that the 9th Circuit was right at the national average in terms of being reversed. The 9th Circuit had 76.0% of its decisions overturned by the Supreme Court, whereas the average reversal rate for all courts nationally was 76.9%.
These results come from an amazing Supreme Court blog by the law firm Goldstein & Howe.
