That question is being asked by many. Do I vote for experience? Or do I take the chance on the possibility of a new way of work in Washington? T. Jefferson said that a country needs a well informed electorate (a paraphrase).
During this primary season I have asked myself many times where to put my vote so that it will do the most good for the people of this country. My original candidates have been eliminated by the media and other opponents of real change. Now I am faced, as well as a lot of other voters, as to where to put my vote.
After watching the media coverage and the debates I have asked myself these questions: Do I want a candidate that is willing to work for the betterment of both parties and the country? Or do I want to vote for a candidate that is steeped in heavy partisanship and corporatism?
It is that damn simple. Do I want yesterday? Or chance my vote for a better tomorrow?
I would offer my views on the Repubs, but it appears my decision has been made for me. A heavy dose of yesterday! I, personally, are tired of fighting the political battles of the Vietnam era. He would be a good choice if one likes the partisanship and do nothing Congress. If that is truly what I want, then I am in luck, I already have my candidate. But unfortunately for him, it is the wrong ideology and the wrong party.
If one is tired of the antics in Washington, then there is only one choice and hopefully all will research their candidate and make a well informed decision. Make Jefferson proud.
