President Hillary. I like the sound of that.
Americans (and the world) have been yearning change for years now. Each day growing out of disillusionment of the false promises and failed policies of George Bush's first campaign and his first days in office. Yes, not a majority of Democrats believed his empty rhetoric, his calls for being "compassionate" , "integrity in the White House", "being a Uniter" , "strict Constructionist-no litmus on pro-life" (don’t choke on that one), and, another fav for us, "no nation building". Even for us who paid attention to the issues and his record, we knew his rhetoric didn’t match, but we still never dreamed he would be as bad as he actually is.
But now, we aren’t just faced with wanting change and progress from when George W. Bush first took office. We have some real repairs and damage to fix. Change that is NECESSARY for our country to keep the promise of America. Most of them, critical and change we need fast. Not small incremental changes where you think the slightest change is better than nothing. We’ve had so many years of minor improvements or progress and in many ways regressive, with so much compromising that has lead us to where we are now, that its times for decisive bold vision for real change. Health Care is the perfect example. The people have been calling for Single Payer Health Care for years. The compromise is at least a Universal Health Care for All. If you compromise from a compromised stand point, you won’t achieve much change.
Yes, Hillary is pushing for mandated Universal Health Care for all. If we believe Health Care is a right, if we believe in democracy where we all pool together to help each other, like mandated Medicaid and mandated Social Security. Wouldn’t you be proud to be able to finally say, America finally has Health Care for all?

But we not only need Health Care for every American, we have so many other issues that require real change and fast, starting on day one of the new presidency. Someone who has the experience to know better and has been dealing with the many challenges the new President will face. Repairing our image around the world. Getting our economy on track with sound progressive policies that help all of us rise up with opportunities while moving forward on what we have. Stop the losses, secure and start building up the middle class. Hillary is seeking a living wage of $9.50 per hour and wants to freeze foreclosure for 3 months to find solutions for the millions risking losing their homes. Hillary shares her ideas here.

Global Warming is essential to address immediately. Hillary not only address this with specific plans on cutting down CO2, and opportunities for renewable energy, but those plans will also help our economy and offer new good paying jobs for Americans, here at home with her Green Collar jobs program, but also with conservation and increasing CAFÉ standards.
" An increase in fuel efficiency standards to 55 miles per gallon by 2030, and $20 billion of "Green Vehicle Bonds" to help U.S. automakers retool their plants to meet the standards;"
And, Hillary took Mr. Gore’s advice from the Senate hearings in March of 2007 on helping make green homes affordable for ALL.
"A new "Connie Mae" program to make it easier for low and middle-income Americans to buy green homes and invest in green home improvements;"
But she really has so many great ideas, you can view them all here.

But really, all of this revolves around ending one of most disastrous policies in our country. The continued occupation of Iraq. And Hillary knows what to do and how to do it. As she has stated, she expects to have our troops out of Iraq within her first year. She will start withdrawing our troops within the first 60 days of her presidency.

But first we must vote for Hillary in the Democratic Primary, so she can go on to win the General Election against the eventual Republican nominee, which looks almost certainly to be John McCain. She won’t be able to make these needed and wanted changes if she isn’t the Democratic nominee. I hope you will think about the real changes you want made now, because you can be sure, that is what the voters will be deciding on when it comes time for the entire country to go to the polls and vote who will be the next president of the United States in the General election in November.
Vote Hillary for solutions to bring the real change we want and need.
A great new ad with Astronaut/Former Senator John Glenn.
