Here we go again?
Ralph Nader longtime consumer advocate and spoiler of the 2000 Gore vs. Bush election has announced his intentions to enter into the fray once again.
Many questions are raised by this move by Nader.
While he has absolutely no chance of ever becoming the POTUS he does have the chance to play kingmakerof a sorts.
His ability to draw 1-2% of the popular vote can ip the scales again in battleground states like OH, FL and PA and leave us once aain in the grips of a republican administration.
There is however one candidate that beats John McCain with enough of a margin that there will be no spoiler, no question and noSupreme Court decision annointing our next POTUS.
Barack Obama.
Hillary Clinton started this primary race faced with a 46% disapproval rating in nationwide polling. Her downward spiral in the primary and her latest Shame on You! screed are evidence that she is too divisive a candidate to take on McCain.
Now with Nader in the pic we cannot afford to risk a Hillary candidacy any longer.
It is time for her to step down so the Obama campaign can become the campaign for President instead of nominee.
