Goodbye to the hopelessness...
• Obama is too young a person, too inexperienced and uncynical to be a great leader.
• Hillary is seasoned, and her longevity makes her a better choice. She knows that hope is a foolish luxury.
• Obama couldn't raise the money. He hasn't even got 1,000,000 donors!
• Obama couldn't build the organization. No one volunteers for his campaign. No one gets involved in politics because of him.
• Obama couldn't win. He has not won 23 states.
Goodbye to the toxic viciousness...
• Obama is Muslim.
• Obama is not a patriot.
• His supporters are cultists with their heads in the clouds.
• Latte Drinking, Prius Driving, New York Times reading, Birkenstock Wearing, Trustfund Babies support Obama. Hard working Americans like the Teamsters, Change to Win, and the Brotherhood of Boilermakers, among others, have not supported Obama.
Goodbye to the news-coverage target-practice . . .
• Hillary has lost 10 straight contests by at least 17 points. She is still a contender in this race.
• If the situation were reversed, people would also still consider Obama a viable candidate.
Goodbye to the politics of division and derision, diminution and doubt...
• Only blacks support Obama
• Only the young support Obama
• Only men support Obama
• Only the educated support Obama
• Only the rich support Obama
• Only activistssupport Obama
• Only non Democrats support Obama
• Only non working class support Obama
• Only caucus goers support Obama
• Only the insignificant states support Obama
• Only idealistic fools support Obama
Goodbye to cherry picking your past...
• Hillary can take credit for the good things that came out of her husband’s administration. Remember how good those times were!
• Hillary is not responsible for the bad things that happened during her husband’s administration. Remember, she wasn’t the President then.
• 35 years of experience working for the poor and the helpless include calling a raped 12 year old girl a liar.
Goodbye to the ageism...
• Those who have been around longer always know what’s better. Being the oldest president while in office, Reagan was one of the best presidents for our country.
• Those who are younger should know their place and wait their turn. This is owed to those who have already waited for their turn, never speaking out when it wasn’t politically expedient, and getting angry when it counted most. Being angry over 4000 American soldiers who have died in vain is not as important as being angry about campaign mailers speaking the truth about your policy positions.
Goodbye to feeling voiceless...
We are Obama’s voice. He is our voice.
We are old. We are young. We are men. We are women. We are black and white and brown. We are the haves, and the have-nots. We work, and we go to school. We drink coffee and tea and water and pop. We wear Birkenstocks, Sketchers, Prada, and Payless. We are liberals and conservatives. We are us, and we are them.
We are tired of waiting for the world to change.
We are American, and we want to see the Promise of America. We are millions.
We will change a room.
We will change a building.
We will change a city.
We will change a state.
We will change our country.
We will change the world.
We are millions of voices. We are calling for change.
