I have noticed that the posts that get the most response is when one candidate or another is written about. It seems the a persons candidate is the most important thing. Why is this? I do not agree with it. Just wondering.
I have written about the failure of activism and the grassroots organization after elections. With few comments. I have written about the Super delegates and the possibility of an all out war. I have written about tactics not being good for the party. With few comments.
Is it that we do not want to admit that the party is being torn apart slowly and painfully? A persons candidate of choice is well and good, but if they keep tearing at each others jugulars there will be no Democratic Party to worry about.
Even Keith Olbermann on MSNBC sees this problem. His special comment last night was all about the problems within the party and the damage the candidates and their surrogates are doing to it. I just cannot understand why the future of the party is of no concern to Dems.
Yes, yes, yes! It is important to get the Repubs out of power, but at what cost to the party? If one does not care if Dems act more like Repubs then this is not a problem for them. But if the party is going to be saved, a senior statesman of the party needs to step up and put a stop to the carnage. But who would that be? Bill Clinton? Yeah right, he is going to go against his wife. Then who needs to show the cajones and put a stop to this disgusting situation? Who can we turn to to solve the problem?
Your thoughts, please.
