Hey Hillary supporters: I want to know is where your heart would be if there is no Michigan revote. I am sincerely curious how you see things. (Poll response or comments welcome.)
Hillary Clinton supporters: I am trying to understand if the things I hear her pundits say represent rank and file democratic activists who support Hillary's candidacy.
What do you think about the michigan and florida delegate situation?
For me, I can not understand the Clinton view on this one. Obama as I see it followed what our DNC said to do, and did not campaign in Florida and like all other candidates -- did not have his name on the ballot in Michigan.... I just have this visceral reaction when Hillary says (in emotion laden language) that we should even possibly count the votes in a state that only had her name on the ballot (really -- it makes me mad)... in both states the voters were told it would not count. Woudn't this sort of invalidate the election outcome?
**Disclaimer/full disclosure: This is the epitome of why I have come to essentially dislike Clinton. **
Help me understand how this is not "rules don't apply to me, I need to win." Are you worried that she is willing to defy the DNC and create a shcism in the party that should be unified against republicans? If you can take a moment, please comment thoughtfully-- I really want to understand. If you don't want to comment, at least register your view as a Hillary Supporter (I am hoping Obama supporters won't vote -- I think I could guess).
I can also guess that Hillary would say we should try and revote in Michigan. But the question is what will your position be if (I think it likely given what I know about election set-up and logistics) Michigan can not engineer a do-over vote. Furthermore-- I also hear her and her pundits (CNN this morning's NY representative) say things like those who went to vote want their votes to count and we should count them. I have seen vote counts that include the current Michigan results.... so what I want to know is where your heart would be if there is no revote.
