Tonight the investigative news program Frontline features the first of the two-part examination, "Bush's War". It draws on the more than 40 reports that Frontline has done on the "war on terror."
It's on right now on many Eastern Time Zone PBS stations.
Frontline also continues to offer "Watch Online" a fantastic service providing past programs viewable online. I highly recommend "Secret History of the Credit Card," "The Dark Side," and "News Wars."
I think that those Kossacks who are good and e-mailing various Address Book recipients with talking points and "viral"-type political e-mails consider the TRANSCRIPTS of shows like "The Dark Side" as a great resource. Frontline has done a great job of showing--among many, many other things--how strongly the British from the very beginning pressed that there not be an over-reaction, but--when push came to shove as it were--Blair caved-in later on the issue of Iraq.
Of course, Frontline also has fantastically demonstrated how Rumsfeld, Cheney, et al were eyeing Iraq from the very beginning, even on 9/11 itself.
Cheney and Rumsfeld are truly frightening specimens.
