Will the current violence in Iraq be perceived as another Tet Offensive? Just when our government is telling us (once again) that things are looking up and victory is around the corner, the militants are showing that they can strike where and when they want, despite our "surge" and billions spent. This is what happened on the Tet Offensive on the New Year in Vietnam, and even those Americans supporting that war came to turn against the war--will this be the straw to break the proverbial camel's back and sets the American people really against the war and promises of success we are just about to achieve.
