Pat Buchanan has consistently been Pro-Clinton for the last year. That's no big surprise. So this quote (approx.) isn't surprising:
If Clinton wins Ohio and Texas it will mean that Obama got bloodied up (this last week) and he can't stand the heat!
Scarborough concurred saying this is the first time that the media/clinton have really gone after him.
Maddow then said:
The one thing I've been wondering is whether Obama can withstand the Republican attack machine this fall. So it will be interesting to see if he could do it. If he loses it means maybe he can't.
MSNBC consistently shows Michigan and Florida as wins for Clinton on their map. They constantly pretend as though Clinton has a legitimate shot at winning the nomination. Now even the liberal on their election panel is saying maybe its good for Obama to be bloodied up.
Is this bias against Clinton?
From what I've seen other the last few months only Olbermann speaks the truth. You have Russert, Buchanan, Scarborough...these guys have consistently been pro-Clinton. And the spin they are putting on this primary is ridiculous!
What Buchanan is saying is that despite losing 12 contests in a row, if clinton wins the popular vote in both contests it will be HUGE and she should continue. Well he's a far right Republican.
The truth is that we are certain now that she will not have received the blow out she needed today and no matter whether she wins Ohio or Texas by single digits she should step down. No more battering our nominee or saying McCain is better qualified to be president.
I'm just shocked that "the best political team on television" is analyzing this contest this way. it can't be legitimate idiocy they are all too smart for that. This has to be strategic. It's sickening.
