Now, I can't make any well-reported accusations. I'm just a citizen-blogger, another individual with nothing more than a keyboard and an Internet connections. I do know that members of the media are not allowed into political fund-raisers. I certainly know tape recorders are not allowed.
So sure, Sen. Obama said what he said at a fund raiser in San Francisco. And frankly, I happen to agree with his basic point. Because those who claim to represent their economic interests lie to them again and again and again, (those such as Bill and Hillary Clinton), blue collar people in the heart of the country vote against their economic interests and often embrace dishonest Republican wedge issues.
But that's not what this diary is about.
This diary is about a "blogger's" meteoric rise to stardom. This is about a lying, horrible woman named Mayhill Fowler. This is about a native of Oakland, California who I know little about. This is about someone who gradually spent $2,300 in order to get access to Sen. Obama's fundraisers.
This is about someone who, before donating any money to Sen. Obama donated to one Fred Thomspon.
This is someone who managed to generate tepid enthusiasm for Obama for a few blogs as cover, then when her cash contribution and duplicity paid off, kneecapped him at first opportunity.
This is about someone who did her best to take her supposed favored candidate's true and not at all offensive comments out of context and turn it into a big media event. Perhaps she is in it for self promotion. Perhaps she is a Clinton supporter. I, personally, believe her to be a Republican operative.
$2,300 gets you a lot of opposition research, "citizen blogger."
EDIT: Mayhill Fowler was the woman who "broke" the story on Huffington Post regarding Barack Obama's comments at a SF fund raiser characterizing PA voters as "bitter."
Here is her Huffington Post page, complete with an unhelpful biography and several articles that are rather critical of Obama, especially for a big contributor.
UPDATE: Thanks to Snowcat for pointing out before she was posting on Huffington Post, she was Junehill on blogspot, seemingly a pretty anti-Obama, pro-Hillary blogger.
And also that she claimed to PBS rather recently that she was "neutral" which belies her Obama contributions and burnishes her fake journalist credentials.
