Most Americans support a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that will ensure security and self-determination to both Israelis and Palestinians.
Most Americans Jews support this. Most American Muslims support it.
Most Americans of all faiths and backgrounds support it. Even President Bush says that this is his ``vision.''
Why then does our government not do more to advance this goal? And why is it that even when presidents do try to move in the right direction, they do not get more support from Congress?
It has a lot to do with the fact that our elected officials simply do not hear our voices. They hear instead from a vocal minority that has a different view.
Now there is a new sensible lobby, J Street, that aims to give a voice to the majority:

If you are pro-Israel and pro-peace, head on over to J Street

If you want to contribute to progressive political candidates, and you want to make sure your money goes to sensible advocates of a two-state solution, then J Street may be the place for you.
