Digg it!
In October of 2007, John Edwards (the candidate I was supporting at that time) said the following with regards to Hillary Clinton:
"The question I think that voters have to ask themselves is: do you belive that the candidate who has raised most money from Washington lobbyists, Democrat or Republican... The Candidate that has raised the most money from the drug companies, health insurance companies, the candidate who has raised the most from the defense industry. Republican or Democrat. And the answer to all those questions is that's Sentor Clinton, will she be the person that is going to bring about change in this country? I believe in Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy but I really don't think that is going to happen. I really don't. I think that if people want the status quo, Senator Clinton is your candidate."
John Edwards will never, in a million years, endorse Hillary Clinton.
It's clear from his statements over the course of his campaign that he is not in favor of the Clinton brand of politics. And that's putting it way gently.
Edwards will never come out for Hillary just because of some job she dangled in his face. He'd likely have a job in either administration, and he knows it.
Plus, he ain't no sellout.
