Well who should the nominee be looking at as his running mate? Why do John McCain's cheeks look so puffy? Who gives us the best chance at a balanced ticket? Should it be a woman? Who doesn't love a poll on a Friday afternoon?
OK so Newsome and Spitzer are obviously jokes, but it just goes to show what a difference a couple of months make. My choice would be Wes Clark if he hadn't been such a complete Hillary shill. He would have made a nice rounded ticket with the military experience and the appeal to older and more rural voters that would have shored up some of the more purple blue states and maybe swung some of the more purple red states. Sebelius has gotten a lot of run recently, but I'm not sold on her.
I think right now my (realistic) favorite would be Schweitzer. He's a straight forward popular governor of a western state that could deliver some serious votes in that part of the country.
But enough about me, let's see what you all think, and please if I missed someone be kind.
