First, some explanations and background.
Andrew Sullivan loathes Hillary Clinton as much as anyone here (he nearly drove me from his site until I realized he was on to something). He is also a major Obama supporter.
And yes, I realize he was awful post-9/11 and going into the Iraq war. He has changed and repented since them on most of this, and his moral outrage and leadership on the torture issue (he regards Bush, Cheney et al as war criminals) has been stellar.

Anyway, in tomorrow's Times (London) his column deals with the case for an Obama/Clinton ticket. For some reason (I am hardly with him) he concludes that she is sticking around because she wants to be asked. In any event, he lays out the case, comparing it to Kennedy/Johnson (who also loathed each other) and coming to the conclusion that it just might be the (literally) ticket.
Again, I don't necessarily agree, and I post this knowing full well it is going to bring out a lot of vitriol and easy dismissal. My hope is that it will also provide a bit of more reasonable discussion.
And remember, my fellow Obama supporters, if he does this (and I don't rule it out) few if any of you will not vote for him, so maybe it makes sense to hear Sullivan out.
