Apologies if this has been posted already, but I didn't see it. Posting here so that polls can be separately discussed, since we all know that we have to GOTV no matter what the polls say, and the real issues deserve more discussion.
BUT, Zogby and WSJ have released their latest battleground polls, and I haven't seen comments. I think it looks good for Kerry. If these polls were election results (they are not, and a lot can happen in 6 weeks, so GOTV - did I say that already?), Kerry would pick up...
FL (.5% lead - obviously, w/in MOE)
AR (!!!!!!!)
NH
and not lose any states, thus winning hte election.
Not only that, but Kerry's leads in some states are solid (not the +20% I'd like to see!!), and Bush's leads in other states are tenuous (3.3% in OH, 2.2% in NV - but also 5.4% in MO, 5.5% TN). The only lost cause, if results are correct, is WV.
All this doesn't matter much, but it sure beats listening to Gallup polls and others portraying Bush way ahead!
