To paraphrase Charles Cotesworth Pinckney writing in regards to a French demand for a bribe to secure the release of American ships during the Napoleanic Wars of the early 19th century:
"Millions for OBAMA, but not one cent for HILLARY”

NBC super pundit Tim "Timmeh" Russert suggested last night that Senator Obama's campaign may be asked to pay off Senator Clinton's enormous campaign debts in order to placate her into graciously exiting the race for the Democratic nomination for POTUS. As we know Hillary has had a hard time paying the bills her mismanaged campaign has accumulated and she has loaned her campaign $11.425 million to keep the whole creaky effort afloat. God bless her, she and Bill are rich.
Now, I am an Obama supporter. My wife and I make a decent living. Like many we live paycheck to paycheck and barely pay the mortgage, the oil bills, the gas bills, the credit card bills, etc . . . We are not rich. Nevertheless, we have been inspired by Senator Obama's message of unity, of hope, and of change. Because of that we have donated a small part of our small income to Senator Obama's campaign. I have also worked for Senator Obama's campaign at our state's caucus, phonebanking, and I will serve as a delegate at our state's convention.
Therefore, I am absolutely outraged even by the suggestion that Senator Clinton be "bought off" by repaying her campaign debts. I have worked hard. We all have worked hard. We have all given time an money. Money that in these times is even more important to struggling families. To think one penny of my donations would go to a woman who has relentlessly and viciously attacked my favored candidate is repulsive to me. To think that one penny of my donations went to a bloated slimeball like Mark Penn disgusts me. I hope I am not alone in strongly opposing any effort by the Obama campaign to pay off Senator Clinton's campaign debts.
Now, what do YOU think?
