Every time I think I can't be more flabbergasted by these scumbags...
Let's sum up Wolfson's major points:
- If Obama loses West Virginia by 15 points, it's devastating to his campaign and gives her the edge in the nomination process.
- Michigan should be counted just as it voted. Yes -- 320,000-to-zero.
- They do not have to win ALL remaining contests (in other words, only the states they're expected to win are important) -- they must simply "do well."
- They will take this fight to the convention floor, if necessary
I have never in my life seen someone sit with a straight face and make such absurd arguments. Beyond absurd, in fact.
The notion that they can win the nomination by any other means than a "back-room" coup is patently false. Do the Clinton surrogates and supporters not remember the 14-point, 225,000-vote drubbing they received in North Carolina just 48 hours ago? And now, West Virginia -- a state with less than 1/3 of the delegates of North Carolina -- is crucial?
The pure, wild-eyed desperation in these people's eyes is frightening. I refuse to call it "toughness," as the media does. It's pure, ruthless ambition beyond anything I can fathom.
Seriously... can you imagine wanting something THIS badly?
