I just learned the awful news that today's show will be Sam Seder's last on Air America Radio.
What a pleasure it's been, these past few years, to hear brilliant, passionate Sammy calling out the neo-fascists (and their MSM propagandists) who have taken over our government; expose the treachery of Holy Joe Lieberman and lower profile DINO's; to give voice to the outrage you must feel if you're paying attention. And what a tragedy to lose him.
I'm not sure what the "thinking" is at AAR - I haven't been able to listen as faithfully since we lost our local affiliate. For the sake of salvaging what's left of our democracy, it's critically important that AAR succeed. But I can't help but think it's a mistake to cast off Sam Seder's youth, energy and refreshing wit, at just the moment when Americans seem most receptive to what he has to say.
