So Obama will be the Democratic Nominee. Well congratulations to Obama, his family and his supporters. Let me also congratulate Hillary on the campaign she ran. With that being said, now reality will set in for Obama and the Democrats..
Before I begin let me just say I am indeed a black man. I know a lot of Obama supporters like to question my race because I have the audacity to have a mind not to support Barack Obama, but yes I am a black man. And if you don't believe me, I live in Washington, DC, you know the city where the wealthy white liberals are moving in and the poor blacks are being moved priced out. But we are not going to talk about that are we?....because blacks and liberals stand together as one in support of Barack Obama.
What amazes me is for Obama supporters like that idiot Chris Matthews, that ass Keith Olbermann, the rest of the liberal media, his supporters on here and in general to think after the way Hillary Clinton has been treated, that Hillary's supporters will just fall in line and vote for Obama. Why? For the sake of the party? The party that has being trying to railroad her out of the race for the past two months? Well that party can go to hell. I think the following excerpt explains it:
Ickes' angry sermon, as it turned out, was just the prelude to a near total meltdown at the end. The other committee members grimaced at the shouts of derision, which included chants of "McCain 08,""Bastards," and "Denver," an echo of their hopes that Clinton would take her case all the way to the Democratic National Convention to be held in August in Denver. After the meeting adjourned, women sat on the floor sobbing, while others, like Pennsylvania voter Betty Jean King, 60, a retired teacher from Shippensburg, ranted to television cameras: "If it's not Hillary, I'm voting for McCain. 17 million people voted for Hillary and I'm telling you many of them are going to defect."
A couple of weeks ago, I came to the conclusion that I couldn't support Barack Obama. I started to apologized to some of my family and black friends who I thought supported Obama b/c he is black, but you wouldn't believe there responses since there is this perception that every black in America is supporting Obama. Well I will not be supporting Obama and the reasons are as I stated over and over... I think he is a fraud. A product of liberals and the leaning liberal media who used Obama solely to prevent the hated Hillary from winning the nomination. I know I have been ripped for feeling this way, but unfortunately it's the way I feel. And as they say...it is what it is.
Now that was a couple of weeks ago, before Keith Olbermann and rest of the liberal media made a mountain of nothing with Hillary's RFK comment. Then I watched how the media tried to compare Obama's pastor problem to McCain's "pastor" problem, even though McCain didn't attend either Hagee
s or Parsley's church. So that was just a joke. Furthermore, if they actually looked at the congregations of Parsley's and Hagee's churches...they would notice how racially diverse they are. But I see how the Obama loving media is going to treat this election and it makes me sick. So before I was just not going to support Obama, and if he won, so be it. Now I am leaning more and more to actually supporting John McCain. And I don't feel any remorse whatsoever.
I am not going to criticize the white preacher, because he is from the old school where the white liberal goes into the projects and "saves' the black race. You know, like they do in the movies. He is still worshipped by those in my race who still like to play the victim role, instead of the self-responsibility and self-reliance I am teaching the young black youth here in DC. In my heart, I just wish the media would have done their jobs before they made Obama, King Obama. I know white liberals pride themselves on being race conscious and no one in the media wants to be seen as a racist. However, I think in pushing Obama the way they did, not really doing any reporting on his church until it was too late and slamming Hillary at every chance, they have actually made race relations worse and therefore really made the race to the White House for Dems in '08 a lot harder than it had to be. Let's face it, John McCain is not a rightwing nutcase, so it will not be difficult for a lot Dems to crossover.
