Last night on MSNBC's Countdown w. Keith Olbermann the subject of Kucinich's introduction of 35 articles of impeachment took center stage. Keith talks with a constitutional scholar about the legitimacy of Kucinich's allegations and why nothing is being done about it.
They conclude that the Democrats are not acting out of fear of political repercussions. If they did in fact try to impeach George W. Bush they could see a backlash and fare poorly in the November elections. But is that putting politics ahead of principal? And why have other Presidents been impeached for what amounts to a "set up" while this President isn't impeached for legitimate reasons?
