The Victory 08 Republican Rally will be held on Saturday July 12, 2008 at the Cain Center in Athens Texas. This event will begin at 11 am and run until 3 pm. (Depending on the situation this event may run until 5 pm.) This is not a fundraising event and is free to attend. The primary function of this event is to educate the voters of East Texas on the issues and candidates in the November Election.

Confirmed speakers include; Roger Williams Secretary of State and Chairman of the Victory o8 Campaign Republican Party of Texas, Congressman Leo Berman Texas District 6, Representative Betty Brown Texas District 4, Senator Bob Deuell Texas District 2, Kelly Shackelford from the Free Market Foundation, and Cathie Adams President of the Texas Eagle Forum. Others who have been invited to speak include; Senator John McCain, Senator John Cornyn, Lt Governor David Dewhurst, Congressman Jeb Hensarling, Todd Staples, and many more.
Americans for Prosperity and RightOnline is hosting a Press Conference area where the speakers and other candidates will talk and answer questions. There will be 16 High Speed Internet connections where members of the press and Conservative Bloggers can access the Web during the event.
