To the best of my knowledge, he has still not changed his own endorsement from Clinton to Obama, but...
... my honored representative is taking her to task for her failure to concede last night.
I am a white, female resident of Harlem. My neighborhood is incredibly diverse: majority black, but not homogeneous. I don't know how many languages are spoken in homes within a block of mine but I expect at least 10-20. The black population itself is diverse, including African Americans, people from the Carribbean and an enormous West African population (the commercial strip one block over from my house is nicknamed "Little Senegal"). But for all our diversity, there is one thing we seem to agree on -- my immediate neighborhood seems (based on signs in store windows and homes) to be incredibly united around Obama, and has been for months (I have never seen a Hillary sign (as for McCain, puhleeze)).
It is heartening to think that our respected and beloved Representative appears ready to join us in our support of the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee.
To quote the sign in the window of the organic grocer I visit several times a week: Si se puede!
