"Unless she has some good reasons-- which I can't think of-- I really think we ought to get on with endorsements (of Obama) and dealing with what we have to deal with... so we can move forward," Rangel said.
This is going to be short, but it's something that's been buzzing around in my head all day. (Yes, bad pun intended.)
To me, this would be better than any E-ticket ride I could think of. Just to see a few minutes of what is (or has been) going on in that private room has got to be a gas.
Whenever you watch the news they always say, 'So-and-so had a meeting with their advisors and decided...' Right... As if it were a nice tea-and-crumpets get together. Oh yea? Well, BULL!
I've been in a few of those kind of meetings and as we all know, that's crap.
I've been to a couple of WA State Democratic conventions, and they are a blast! I've been a campaign manager for a state legislator, and those meetings were head spinning. And sometimes the language was choice.
That being said, I would love, Love, LOVE to be sitting in the room today when Hillary and her advisers and main supporters meet.
I want to know who the first person will be to look her straight in the eye and ask, "I watched your speech last night... Whathefuckwazthat?!?"
Who will tell McAuliffe to grab that bottle of rum he brought back from Puerto Rico and start slammin' it back along with his meds? His introduction sure as shit showed that he was not on this planet, that's for sure.
And when Ickes talks, who's going to be the first to roll their eyes?
Man, I'm betting that the words are going to be choice, fur's going to fly.
