In her speech of Tuesday night, Hillary Clinton said that everyone wants to know "What does Hillary want?"
Personally, I couldn't care less.
But I am interested in hearing from her supporters what THEY want. I know this is hard, as people are still "grieving" (I do relate, by the way, having had to vote in the NY primary only days after my candidate of choice had dropped out of the race), and maybe for that reason this conversation can't be had productively for a little while.
So if it's not too soon --
What do you really want from this ticket?
I urge you not to say you want Hillary on it -- this has all gotten so ugly and personal, I don't think that's a reasonable demand at this point -- plus it adds no information, since we've already heard plenty of that from the candidate and her official surrogates. But I'm not interested in the candidate and her official surrogates, I'm interested in YOU, the real voters who put your trust in her during primary season. I hope you can step back and consider what about Hillary is so great and is not already brought to the table by Obama, and help the rest of the Democratic Party understand that.
