If the only person willing to introduce articles of impeachment is someone with little political influence because everyone with political influence is terrified of misreading the electorate when it's so obvious that at least a bare majority of the electorate are willing to consider impeachment; why does this person have little political influence?
And don't try to tell me there isn't such support.
An acquaintance of mine that has been a life-long republican actually brought up this topic with me tonight-- I learned about it from him. And he wasn't trying to bias me against it. But in effect asked me 'why the hell isn't you're side more resolute about this?'.
And I wish I had an answer to give him, because I haven't the slightest clue.
So Kucinich isn't a power-player. He doesn't have to be if we rally support around him. Saying he's stupid for doing this without support is stupid because you can't get support for something like this until you do it.
IE you have to take a risk, which Kucinich has now done. If you really want to see this happen now is the time to act...
And if you think a protracted primary season was helpful for the Democratic party, just imagine the party building that could go on during a righteous impeachment...
