I'm currently running for Spokane County Commissioner in eastern Washington, so I'm pleased to report that I've seen a great deal of progress on the Netroots Nation Island--including progress on my booth!
As you can tell, the booth isn't quite complete (with unpacked boxes and such!), but it will be by the time people get to Austin.
During the course of NN2008, I will be posting a few diaries to talk about how progressives improve the everyday lives of all Americans. I will be bringing examples of how local progressives bring open, fiscally-responsible, and community-oriented government to the people.
There will be plenty of opportunities to chat with progressives from all across the nation. I've found them to be very friendly and helpful! And they're passionate about electing progressives to office, just like you!
I hope to see you at Netroots Nation in Second Life, and at my virtual booth! If you need an excuse, there's a pre-conference dance tonight (yes, a dance--and it's easy!) from 8pm to 10pm Pacific Time at the Netroots Island Ballroom.
See you there!
