The Telegraph reports that several mysterious explosions
have occurred in Iran recently killing dozens of people.
Iranian Military Convoy Rocked by Mystery Explosion
On July 19th in the Tehran suburb of Khavarshahar a military convoy reported by Western officials to be on route to supply Hizbollah was rocked by an explosion killing 15 people and injuring scores of others. There is an investigation underway into the cause of the blast that could be heard
thoughout Tehran.
Western sources are saying that Iran has stepped up shipments to
Hizbollah.
There have been other unexplained explosions in Iran in recent months
including one at a missile site that killed dozens of Iranian technicians.
Could these be attacks inside Iran by Israel or our own
secret operations as described by Seymour Hersh or do things just accidently go boom in Iran?
I hope this is not another neo con reality being created for us in the
"reality-based community" to study.
Just think of all the new realities that Bush has created for us
to study and talk about. Mostly, there's not much to say about
the new reality except that it is FUBAR and makes no sense unless you
believe in building an American Empire and just stealing whatever you
need from your conquered people.
The "reality-based community" consists of people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality."
"That’s not the way the world really works anymore," the Bush aide told the journalist. "We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality – judiciously, as you will – we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors ... and you, all of you, will be left to study what we do."
Study what they do? That's not exactly how I would put it - mostly we just
try to figure out how we can fix the mess that they made.
If things start going boom in Iran - won't the withdrawal timetable
solution also go boom.
What will the policy be then?
