Over the last 24 hours, a lot has been said about the possible entry into the 2004 election by Ralph Nader.
Many Democrats believe that any Democrat is better than Bush. They also believe that the argument that Kerry and Bush are similar is bogus. Many people on this board say the same thing. However, on a number of issues, Kerry and Bush are the same.
Below is a poll. Vote honestly and then understand that in 19 years in the U.S. Senate, John Kerry voted against your positions and against your interests. If that still doesn't bother you, so be it. But if it does, you must think about whether he is the best candidate for the Democrats.
Personally, I voted for Howard Dean in the New Hampshire primary after Dick Gephardt dropped out. I have not decided whether I will vote for Kerry in the general election. I want to see who he picks for the VP spot.
But I don't think Nader should be discouraged from running. The voters of American deserve more than two choices.
