Hi folks-
As I am volunteering for the Obama campaign here in Missouri, all my friends come to me for information regarding how Obama and McCain compare on different issues. Normally, I get asked about one issue and know the answer off the top of my head and that is that--short, sweet and verbal.
Well at least until I received the following email today:
The wife is looking for a good one or two page summary of the differences between McCain and Obama on the issues, do you have a good source? I looked around the Obama website but didn't really see a good summary.
This came up during a "girls night out" where her very republican girlfriends were telling her they could never vote for a democrat because they want to give your money to people who don't want to do anything. They also didn't trust Obama because he was going to take all their money. She is going on a weekend trip with them and wants to be better prepared. :-)
Needless to say, I don't have (or know of--I did a little googling around) a document that compares the two across the major issues: the economy, foreign relations, energy, education, labor, health care, etc... But I am sure one of my fellow DKossians can ride to the rescue on this. Have to run to do voter registration now but I will check back later.
Thanks in advance for your helpful links.
