I'm simply concerned that in Obama's efforts to skew the ticket to garner the middle, he is ultimately abandoning the base that has carried him to this point.
Update: Changed Title to reflect my sentiment.
My sister, a frequent poster, went from being an fervent Obama-fanatic, to an Obama-supporter after the FISA bill. I felt the same way, although still co-sponsored an Obama house party with a co-worker. I really feel that a Bayh selection would further deflate the collective enthusiasm that exists within the progressive community.
Bayh will not deliver Indiana - - it's too red. And his enabling on the Iraq war and his way-too-moderate stances actually blunt the force of the ticket.
