Please, fellow Kossacks. Stop focusing on Sarah Palin. She is a red herring. Everything about her is meant to distract from John McCain.
Listen guys, we need to get away from talking about Mrs. Palin. The focus must be, instead, on McCain and his ability to judge well. There is so much meat to talk about in terms of McCain's judgment. He apparently "shoots from the hip," makes quick decisions that he likes to live with whether they are good or bad. And he says he's fine with the consequences.
He chooses a running mate that has little qualifications to deal with national issues. What does it say about HIM?
He wanted to choose Joe Lieberman but most Republicans told him how awful that decision would be for him, so he WASN'T the Maverick he claims to be, but fell to the desires of his real masters, the ultra-hardcore right wing evangelical fundamentalists. He is not a maverick. He is a slave to the right wing, as John Kerry said on Sunday.
He is an old man who has a greater risk of dying of old age than any other president. And he thinks it is wise to trust the future of the nation to someone who hasn't formed an opinion on Iraq? Who really isn't ready to lead an entire nation?
The talking points we should be using are the following:
- He is old
- He is not a maverick, but a slave to right-wing ideologues.
- His judgment is in doubt.
Is this who we trust?
Leave Sarah Palin to her 15 minutes of fame and let her fall back to Alaskan obscurity.
