The rule, as it stands, is not to play their game; not to get down and dirty like they do. We're not supposed to do the same game that McGrumpy plays. I would absolutely agree only if...
We really gotta quit using the niceties of the language in going after them. The use of the passive voice, sentence wise, does not get through.
Let me make this clear, I am not talking about making bullshit ads taking bits and pieces of sentences to make it sound like someone is a psychotic. (We can let them prove it to the public without any help from us). But the third person passive is somewhat of a political joke; the way that we Democrats stick our chins out for the uppercut.
You can grab a hammer and hit the nail on the head, or you can grab the hammer and swing it through the air and use it as a threat.
I know - get to the point...
Senator Obama has got to quit saying, "People are saying things that are simply not true." Or, at worst (or best depending on how you look at it) "They are saying things that are untrue."
Senator Obama, I implore you to say these words: "They are liars."
It's not going outside the boundaries of the campaign, I don't think. If the Senator called them what they are and explained and told us that they won't discuss the issues. Call them "liars" - straight up - and everyone's ears prick up and make us look to what you are talking about. Maybe the MSM might even pay attention.
I'm waiting to hear, (to steal from Network) "God damn it! I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"
It rang through and struck down to our marrow when Obama let everybody know, "ENOUGH!"
Damn it! Do it again!
Senator, call them what they are in no uncertain terms - LIAR!
