Hi everyone.
I just wanted to let you know, for those who care, that I will be scrambling my password today.
I'm not doing this because I'm mad at anyone, nor do I feel let down.
I'm doing it because I am tired. Going on this site takes up too much of my time, and I just can't justify it anymore.
And I miss my fiancee. And my free time. And my guitar. And all that.
I quit smoking cold turkey, and I'll have to quit blogs that way too.
But what I wanted to say is thank you.
Thank you to everyone I fought with in the 2004 primaries, thank you to everyone that stuck around after Kerry lost, thank you to everyone that fought like hell against that corrupt 110th Congress, and thanks especially for the people who have gone through this campaign and supported Barack Obama, a man who must win the Presidency.
I think that I am tired because I am losing my faith. A couple days ago, I wrote:
I don't blame 'em honestly. (12+ / 0-)
If America looks at a guy like Obama and a guy like McCain and picks McCain on the basis of leading us into the future, I don't really know what CAN be fixed.

What I've realized is that our struggle is bigger than that. It is about the quest for justice, freedom and equity for as many people IN THE WORLD as can be given.
America is one front in the battle we're all going to fight, especially against climate change. But other countries have joined that battle, and maybe I can help them fight too.
In closing, I just want to say thank you to all of you.
But I can't do this anymore. I can't worry anymore about the little picture. The big picture beckons.
